More women than men (43% vs. 36%) prefer shopping in-store, according to a report from cloud catalog company Indix. The survey also found women are less likely to buy online if shipping costs are high, while men are less likely to purchase online if they can’t compare products. Overall, 34% of respondents ages 18 to 34 still buy items in-store at least once a week. Surprisingly, Millennials are more worried about mobile app payment security than those 55 and older are. More women (55%) than men (44%) worry about mobile payment security. Millennials are the most loyal when it comes to stores and brands, according to the study, and they’re more likely to shop from a preferred retailer than any other generation.
