Customers want places to sit in a garden center. But could these pallet sofas, designed by IKEA for the Philadelphia Flower Show, be too comfortable? Who would ever want to leave? Then again, getting customers to stick around is the idea, right?

Construction is a combination of pallets, plywood and 2x4s. Paint color can be whatever you desire. Around back, note that the slats have been stuffed with succulents and more moss.

Plush linens and pillows provide comfort (outdoor furniture cushions would work, too), while the moss-edged roof accentuates the coziness.

In an adjacent display (pictured below), IKEA created a wall of pallet slats stained trendy green and blue, showing yet another color option for your pallet projects. GP
