More Millennials Than Boomers

Ann-Marie Vazzano
In 2015, 75.3 million Millennials will be living in America, according to U.S. Census population projections, and they’ll outnumber Baby Boomers (74.9 million of them) for the first time. As the Baby Boomer population declines, the Millennial population grows, thanks to an increasing number of Millennial immigrants, according to Pew Research. The Millennial population isn’t expected to peak until the year 2036, with a population of 81.1 million. That’s a pretty big increase considering the last Millennials were born in 1997. The number of Baby Boomers peaked in 1999 at 78.8 million. GP
