Online Shoppers Spend More

More than half of holiday shoppers expect to do some of their shopping online, according to shop.org’s eHoliday 2014 Pre-Holiday Retailer and Consumer Study. And shoppers who buy online are expected to spend 16% more on gifts compared to brick-and-mortar shoppers. But even if your website doesn’t allow for purchasing, it’s important it lists your holiday hours. According to the study, 33% of shoppers will use their tablets and smartphones to look for store hours and location information this holiday shopping season. GP
