What Millennials Aren’t Spending On
Ann-Marie Vazzano
A recent time.com story by Jacob Davidson listed 10 things Millennials won’t spend money on. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Pay TV
- Stock market investments
- Mass-market beer (Millennials prefer craft beer)
- Cars
- Homes
- Bulk warehouse club goods
- Weddings
- Children (Davidson cites a 2012 Motherlode study that found that just 42% of Millennials planned to have kids)
- Health insurance
- Anything you tell them to buy (While older adults like taking product advice from family and friends, more than half of young adults would rather make a decision based on a review from someone unknown, according to Davidson.) GP
