According to social media optimization platform SocialFlow, 99% of organic (unpaid) social media posts don’t result in consumer engagement (clicks, likes, etc). The study looked at data from 1.6 million social media posts from Facebook, Twitter and Google+. However, data-driven posts (whose time of publication is based on predictive algorithms that determine when the audience is there and looking for content), has 91% greater reach and 25% greater engagement than posts that are arbitrarily scheduled to drop at a certain time.
