The Hawaii Export Nursery Association is hosting the Aloha Plantscape Awards and the winner gets a free trip to the islands!

The contest is open to anyone in the interior Plantscape community who uses Hawaii-grown plants in their designs. Submit pictures of your installation (which does not have to be 100% Hawaii plants) and you might just win a trip to Kona on the Big Island for the Hawaii MIDPAC Horticultural Conference & Expo, August 3-5.

Go to www.hena.org and click the Aloha Awards link. You’ve got until May 31 to get your entry in.
MIDPAC is also a great way to learn more about Hawaii’s amazing foliage industry—they grow some great stuff in their unique climate. Tie it in with a summer family getaway. GT
