DÜMMEN ORANGE  Dümmen Orange has launched a new and improved website—DummenOrange.com. The enhanced site delivers real-time, ready-to-export availability; downloadable growing guides; and dedicated product pages. Additional improvements to come will include instant order tracking and grower and retailer resources.

ePlantSource  ePlantSource has launched an updated website featuring a major redesign of the site’s availability and order entry platform that enables customers to place orders for multiple weeks at a time. This new feature makes it easier to address shortages on the spot, and improves efficiency and organization. Additional performance upgrades were implemented along with the enhancement to enable the system to serve up thousands of results quickly and accurately. FINE AMERICAS  Fine Americas, Inc. recently announced the hiring of Rob Stutesman as its Pacific Northwest/Western Canada Sales Manager. Based in Richland, Washington, Rob will provide sales support and crop expertise to this area, helping to expand the company’s knowledge base on plant growth regulators to ornamental and agricultural growers in this region. Prior to joining Fine Americas, Rob served as a national training and development manager for Wilbur Ellis for six years. Previously for Wilbur Ellis, he served as a sales representative in the Columbia Basin and Yakima Valley, followed by a Cascade Branded Product Manager position for the company’s portfolio of global branded plant protection and fertilizer products.

GRIMES HORTICULTURE  Grimes Horticulture announced that Bill Steen has been appointed sales director, having been one of their top salespeople for many years. They also announced that Leslie “Les” Barnes is their new accounting manager.

HENRY F. MICHELL  The Henry F. Michell Company announced the hiring of Bill Perdue as a sales representative for Texas, Louisiana, and select key accounts. Bill is a seasoned sales professional with over 20 years’ experience in the horticulture industry and has worked for companies such as Burpee Garden Products and Syngenta/SHS Griffin, as well as time spent previously with the Henry F. Michell Company.

OASIS GROWER SOLUTIONS
  Maria Bast has been hired as the Global Marketing Manager for Oasis Grower Solutions. Maria brings a background in global marketing and extensive experience in both marketing communications and product management. She’s traveled and worked extensively in Asia, Western Europe and Latin America. Maria will also bring broad insights into the consumer world as well from her early career working in consumer marketing at the global luxury brand Egana Goldpfeil Group, a Hong Kong company.

PLEASANT VIEW GARDENS  Pleasant View Gardens announced the addition of Lindsay Muchmore as Product & Program Specialist. Lindsay will utilize her years of horticulture industry experience to develop strong partnerships with Proven Winners partners, brokers and customers, as well as manage product development and programs. Previously, she’s worked as a Director of Fine Gardening and Gardening Manager, overseeing accounts, conducting inventory analysis and generating customer pricing.

SUNTORY FLOWERS  Suntory Flowers announced the addition of Vaughn Fletcher to its North American sales and marketing team. He’ll be working as a consultant supporting Suntory’s sales and marketing strategies. Vaughn brings experience from many facets of the horticultural industry, having started his career at growing, retailing and landscaping businesses, and working as a broker sales representative for the last 30 years, most of that time with McHutchison.

VAN BELLE NURSERY  Van Belle Nursery has redesigned their website, VanBelle.com, complete with a modern look and feel, responsive design for access on any device, and a greater focus on sharing their message to current and prospective partners. The site offers marketing tools such as customizable tags and high-res plant photography, and a visually engaging presentation of what Van Belle can provide for a customer’s nursery or retail operation.
