How is AmericanHort’s CEO Search Going?

Chris Beytes
At Ball Publishing, we’re making plans for Cultivate’16 in July, which will be here before we know it. That got us wondering about the search for a leader for the organization (you’ll recall that CEO Michael Geary resigned last fall). Will we see a new CEO at the show?

We asked Search Committee Chair Susie Raker for some insights. She kept her cards close to her vest:

“We are moving right along in the process of identifying, interviewing and selecting a new CEO,” she said. “We do have some very viable candidates, but it is too early in the vetting process to give away too many more details.”

Executive search firm Key Corporate Services has been retained to find the right candidates.

As for when? Says Susie, “We are on track to be able to introduce our new leader at Cultivate’16 in July.”

Which is July 9-12. GT
