BAILEY NURSERIES   Bailey Nurseries has announced that Dave Warning will be the company’s first Grower Specialist Sales Representative for the Upper Midwest market. Dave will work specifically with grower customers in Illinois, Wisconsin and Western Indiana to manage their unique needs. Dave has been a Territory Sales Representative at Bailey Nurseries for almost 14 years in the Chicagoland and Western Indiana region.

After nearly six years as an Inside Sales Representative, Bailey Nurseries also announced that Kerry Pieritz has been promoted to an Outside Sales Representative position covering the Chicagoland and Western Indiana region. During her tenure at Bailey Nurseries, Kerry worked with customers throughout the Midwest, including this territory with Sales Representative Dave Warning. 


EUROAMERICAN PROPAGATORS   Sue Amatangelo has been hired as the Midwest Sales Manager for EuroAmerican Propagators. The Midwest territory includes portions of the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Central Plains and Eastern Canada. The role of Sue is to train broker sales representatives about the diversity of products available from EuroAmerican, like Proven Winners, Suntory and Sunny Osteospermums. Her role also includes selling retail-ready, pre-finished products, like the Savvy Succulents Wine Bottle Gardens.

Sue has nearly 15 years of horticulture industry experience, most notably with Ball Horticultural Company as National Retail Accounts Manager, board member of Garden Centers of America and the Director of Specialty Business for Home & Garden Showplace. Sue is also a published author and consumer speaker within the horticulture industry.


FOUR STAR GREENHOUSE   Four Star has hired Josh Miller as the New Product Development Manager. Josh will be responsible for evaluating new plant breeding and facilitating marketing and promotion of new products.

Josh comes to Four Star with 20 years of experience in nursery production, management, horticulture and facility operations. He taught greenhouse management and urban horticulture and sustainability at Owens Community College in Ohio.

Four Star also welcomes Tom Brown as Logistics and Customer Fulfillment Manager. In his new position, Tom will be responsible for the shipping, logistics and freight management functions of customer fulfillment. Tom joins the Four Star team with more than 28 years of management experience in transportation, logistics and customer service, including operations, sales and third-party logistics. GT
