Prestop Biofungicide is now commercially available in the U.S. for control and suppression of diseases on a multitude of crops. University tests have shown it superior to other biofungicides and often equal to chemical fungicides for control of certain diseases, especially Botrytis gray mold and Phytophthora root rots. Depending on disease pressure, the application interval can be lengthened from the typical 1 to 2 weeks to 3 to 6 weeks with Prestop. The wettable powder is EPA registered and OMRI listed.

Dramm’s Aeration/Agitation Bucket is perfect to keep water-soluble fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides and PGRs in solution during application. The new bucket also offers air injection to keep nematodes or other microorganisms requiring oxygen alive during use. It’s available as either an AC or battery-powered system, offering flexibility in how the unit is used.

The Soiree Ka-wa-i-i Catharanthus series of micro-blooming varieties are tiny, but terrific. “Kawaii” means cute in Japanese. Each flower has a cartoon-like, abstract shape. Plants are covered with vivid color. Choose from Pink, Coral (pictured) or Lavender. Foliage is attractive, glossy green with small leaves and densely branched. Ka-wa-i-i is best suited for small pots, 4 to 6 in. In the garden, plants thrive in the heat and remain compact, reaching a height of 6 to 10 in., spreading 12 to 18 in.
