Philips Adds Three LED Partners

Chris Beytes
Thinking about LED lights for your greenhouse? More and more growers are, especially propagators and veggie growers. Now you’ve got three more choices when looking at an installation from Philips Horticulture LED Solutions, which happens to be one of the world leaders in the technology.

The three new “Certified Horticulture Partners” are AgriNomix of Oberlin, Ohio; Total Energy Group (TEG) of Summerland, California; and Paul Boers Ltd./Prins Greenhouses of Vineland Station, Ontario, Canada.

Employees from all three partners recently went through a training and certification course in California, covering both the physiology of plant lighting and the technical aspects of Philip’s systems. They’ll be supported by Philip’s account managers, a plant specialist and an application engineer.

“We recognize the value of partnering with well-established horticulture manufacturers and suppliers to support our efforts to bring Philips Horticulture LED to greenhouse growers in a highly efficient manner,” said Ron DeKok, Philips Horticulture LED Business Development Director. “The expansion of our Partner network underlines Philips’ ongoing investment in our business and approach. Many of our customers are looking for custom lighting solutions with tightly integrated technologies for their growing operations. We are continuing to deepen our resources and capabilities on all fronts so we can answer this demand and add even more value to the business of our customers.” GT
