Field-to-Vase Dining
Chris Beytes
American Grown Flowers, a branding initiative launched by a group of U.S. cut flower growers, is hosting a series of “Field-to-Vase” dinners that celebrate locally grown flowers and locally produced food, wine and beer.

The artisan-style dinners are being served at flower farms, in the midst of all those growing flowers, which “encourages guests to experience the age-old art and science of flower farming.” So far, events have been held in Carpentaria, Carlsbad and Watsonville, California, and Orlando, Florida.
Here’s the rest of the Field-to-Vase schedule:
- July 17, Boulder, Colorado, The Fresh Herb Co.
- August 20, Brooklyn, New York, Brooklyn Grange
- September 12, Seattle, Washington, Jello Mold Farms
- September TBD, Washington, DC, TBD
- October 3, Portland, Oregon, Oregon Flowers
- October 10, Fallbrook, California, Kendall Farms
