Dümmen Group
Lesli Current, Marketing Coordinator for the Dümmen group team, closed out her tenure on February 9, 2015. In her two years with the organization, Lesli supported many marketing activities related to the Dümmen group assortment in North America. Her creativity and positive attitude will be sincerely missed. On behalf of the Dümmen group team, we wish her the best in her future endeavors.
Lindsay Pangborn, who joined our team in September, will be assuming Lesli’s responsibilities. Lindsay graduated from The Ohio State with a BS in Agriculture, majoring in Landscape Horticulture. Lindsay has experience in both landscape design and research trial management. Her skills in writing and presenting trial results to various audiences, along with evaluating plant performance and designing garden landscapes, have given her great insight in her role with the Dümmen group already.
Fine Americas, Inc.
Fine Americas, a manufacturer and marketer of PGRs for the agriculture, greenhouse ornamental and landscape industries, today announced the launch of its re-designed website:

In addition to important information on Fine Americas’ growing product line, the new site features a number of user-friendly features. Growers and landscape professionals can find their nearest Fine Americas distributor through an easy-to-use “Distributor Locator” feature. The “Grower Resources” section of the site features important information relating to product rates and timing, as well as a direct link to the University of New Hampshire’s Mix Master tank-mixing mobile app, sponsored by Fine Americas. In addition, the site will include a monthly blog from two of the most respected university researchers in the greenhouse ornamental sector, Dr. Brian Whipker of North Carolina State University and Dr. Joyce Latimer of Virginia Tech.
Greenex
Steve Swart is a new sales representative for the western part of USA for Greenex. Steve brings more than 20 years of horticultural experience to the Greenex team. He has a strong background in both commercial and research growing, as well as crop scheduling and insect pest management.
Steve has been closely involved with plants for many years, beginning with a position managing transgenic maize breeding greenhouses for ICI Seeds in Slater, Iowa. He then moved on to grow pre-cooled and finished florist azaleas for Yoder Brothers in Salinas, California, for three years. For the next year, he worked as a Crop Consultant and Pest Control Advisor for United Agricultural Products in Watsonville, California. Most recently he was the Seed Trials Coordinator for Goldsmith Seeds and Syngenta Flowers in Gilroy, California. He held the Trials Coordination position for nearly 10 years and, among other things, was responsible for scheduling all seed crops for Spring Trials.
Syngenta Bioline
Ronald Valentin has been appointed technical lead for Syngenta Bioline. A former biological crop protection specialist and technical coordinator at Biobest, Ronald brings a deep understanding of the business and industry. Ronald joins Syngenta with 27 years of experience in biological control and IPM. In his new capacity, he will be responsible for technical support of Bioline biological control agents and will be instrumental in helping growers develop integrated pest management (IPM) solutions.
