It was one year ago on January 1 that the industry’s newest trade association came into being.

Of course, in a way, AmericanHort is also our oldest association, being the combination of the American Nursery & Landscape Association and OFA—The Association of Horticulture Professionals. ANLA was founded in 1876 as the American Association of Nurserymen, Florists and Seedsmen. OFA was birthed in 1929 as the Ohio State Florist Association. Combined, they brought 223 years of history to AmericanHort.

Congrats to the staff, board and members for a successful first year!
