Oglesby Plants International

Oglesby’s Ficus petiolaris Rocky has some of the best characteristics of this beautiful ficus species. It features metallic blue-green heart-shaped leaves with contrasting dark-pink veins. A distinctive woody basal caudex develops with age, providing a natural Bonsai look. Very drought tolerant, Rocky proves to be a vigorous grower when given well-drained media, bright light, food and water. It’s a great container accent plant for the patio and is easily one of the toughest interior plants. Excellent in 4 in. on up.

Nature’s Source
Bring your soil to life with Nature’s Source Plant Probiotic microbial soil amendment. Its microbe complex aids in nutrient breakdown, availability and absorption while reducing nutrient leaching. Plant Probiotic also minimizes transplant shock for better plant establishment. Best of all, it gives your plants a “root boost”—Plant Probiotic stimulates root development and nutrient uptake all while increasing tolerance to environmental stress.

Tuffy Plants
The Tuffy Plant Collection has announced the introduction of several new flowering shrub varieties, including two dwarf bottlebrush shrub selections: Callistemon viminalis Green John and C. viminalis Better John. Both are seedling selections of Callistemon Little John that were selected for improved plant vigor and nicer growth habits. They exhibit roughly the same size and habit of Little John, with the same deep-red bottlebrush inflorescences, but trials have shown these selections to be easier to produce and also tougher and more resilient in the landscape.
