Monrovia
Monrovia Soil Amendment contains three key ingredients that make it ideal for planting and enriching existing garden soil. The mycorrhizae actually enlarge root surfaces, enabling them to absorb nutrients and water, while the compost stimulates biological activity for maximum growth. The Soil Amendment is fortified with slow-release fertilizer that adds extra nourishment during the plants’ transition into the garden. Available in 1- and 2-cubic-foot bags, the amendment benefits the entire landscape as living mycorrhizae spread to other areas of the garden.

North American Plants, LLC
Echinacea Green Envy from hobbyist gardener Mark Veeder represents an unprecedented breakthrough with rare green flowers. A robust perennial with deep roots and strong stems, it bears a large number of jade-green blooms from mid-July through autumn. Green Envy can withstand heavy winds and rain; it does well in a variety of soil conditions and can tolerate drought once established. As it matures, petals elongate, taking on a magenta veining near the cone.

BioWorks, Inc.
RootShield WP is a new and improved formulation of Bioworks’ current biological fungicide, PlantShield HC. This wettable powder formulation will not clog drip emitters, drip tape or irrigation booms. It provides preventative control of major root diseases including pythium, fusarium, rhizoctonia, thielaviopsis and cylindrocladium by growing on roots, protecting them against damaging fungi. Registered for indoor and outdoor root disease control on greenhouse and outdoor ornamentals, herbs and vegetables. Has a 0-hour REI.

Hawaiian Sunshine Nursery, Inc.

Dracaena Hawaiian Sunshine is a new plant with beautiful and consistent variegation. Features excellent durability in the interior, smaller leaf size than dracaena Massangeana, darker green leaves, and it retains its variegation. Boasts elegant downward curving and glossy foliage with chartreuse stripes. It grows well under field, greenhouse and interiorscape conditions, and accepts versatile light conditions. In early 2009, finished plants will be available from Hawaii to the U.S.

Horticultural Identification Products (HIP)
Repel is an innovative product containing 30% post-consumer waste, making it an environmentally responsible choice. The Repel product exceeds expectations of traditional paper labels by resisting curling and fading when exposed to water and sunlight. Unlike the glossy plastic tags commonly used in the industry, printing on Repel paper produces a soft, matte image. The natural look reinforces the environmental benefits of the tag, appealing to the consumer’s senses with a soft look and a soft feel.
