AFE Gets $100K

Earlier this month, the American Floral Endowment received a grand gift from Egon and Laina Molbak, the founders of Seattle-area Molbak’s Garden and Home. Not just a grand gift—a hundred grand, to be exact.

The $100,000 donation establishes a new AFE named fund and will serve as a tribute to Egon and Laina’s hard work and contributions to the garden retail industry. What started out as five glass greenhouses built by these pair of Danes has turned into one of the Northwest’s shining home and garden jewels.

The Egon and Laina Molbak Fund is now AFE’s 22nd named fund created since 2011. Impressive! And thank you, Molbaks, for all you’ve done for this industry. GP
